Does every chess parent need ChessZCam?
No. A normal phone recording may be completely sufficient. ChessZCam is intended for families who need a digital position, PGN, coach-ready record or permitted LAN viewing alongside the video.
Can parents watch during a tournament?
Only when the organizer permits the setup and provides an appropriate viewing arrangement. Fair-play rules, privacy and the playing environment always come first.
Will this automatically improve my child’s chess?
No. The app records and digitizes games. Improvement still depends on thoughtful review, suitable coaching, practice and the child’s wellbeing.
Should I record every game?
Not necessarily. Selected important games may provide enough material without turning every tournament into a monitoring exercise.
