Terms of Use & SwissMax Licence

Last updated: 6 August 2026

SwissMax is still warming up.

There is no Buy button yet, so no payment can be taken. The prices and licence terms below are our launch plan, shared early so nobody has to guess.

Website use

Content on zonchess.com is informational. Features marked beta, roadmap, pre-launch or coming soon may change before release. You must not misuse the site, submit unlawful material, attempt unauthorized access, or interfere with its forms and services.

Waitlist and communications

Joining product updates allows Motivace Studio to email you about the selected product's development, testing and launch. It does not create an order, reservation or payment obligation. You may ask to unsubscribe or delete the record through Contact.

SwissMax price & licence plan

What the lifetime licence means

A completed purchase grants the purchaser a non-exclusive, non-transferable, perpetual licence to use the purchased SwissMax base product within the licence scope displayed at checkout and in the order confirmation. The licence is not ownership of the software or source code, and it may not be resold, sublicensed, publicly redistributed or shared outside the purchasing person or organization.

Updates and additional modules

Digital fulfilment

When sales open, SwissMax will be fulfilled digitally for supported Windows computers. The installer or download access, receipt and licence/activation instructions will be provided electronically after successful payment. No physical product is shipped. Current system requirements and activation scope will be shown before checkout.

Third-party systems and tournament responsibility

SwissMax is independently developed and is not affiliated with or endorsed by Swiss-Manager, Chess-Results or FIDE. It assists with operational and presentation workflows; the organizer and chief arbiter remain responsible for official pairings, rankings, prize decisions, participant consent and tournament records. Availability or format changes in third-party services may affect related imports.

Refunds, support and statutory rights

The published Refund Policy explains the planned process. Nothing in these terms excludes rights or remedies that cannot lawfully be excluded under applicable consumer law. Support requests should include the app version, operating system and a concise description of the problem.

Disclaimer and liability

Pre-launch and trial software is provided for evaluation and may contain defects. To the extent permitted by law, Motivace Studio is not liable for indirect or consequential loss, loss caused by incorrect source data, third-party outages, venue networks, or an organizer's failure to verify official tournament information. Any liability that cannot be excluded is limited only to the extent permitted by applicable law.

Governing law and contact

These terms are governed by the laws of Malaysia, without limiting mandatory consumer rights that apply in a purchaser's jurisdiction. Questions may be sent through the contact form.
